Introduction to Digital Poetry
Course Overview
This course focuses on composing original poetry arts, analysis and study of poetry forms and presenting performances with the integration of educational technology.
Extensive reading, preparation for class, and active participation are all needed because the course emphasizes reading for evaluating, discussing major ideas, and expressing viewpoints. Before session, participants will be required to read and prepare some thoughts on the reading activity. Participants will also contribute to the course by selecting interesting passages for classroom reading lessons.
Course Learning Objectives
- learn the techniques that underpin both free verse and traditional forms of digital poetry,
- find personal experiences that can be used as inspiration for digital poems, and
- explain and use fundamental terminologies and elements of digital poetry
